What happens when everything goes wrong? Let’s face the journey of being an entrepreneur is not without its moments of grief, and problems. If you have been in business and or ministry for any length of time, you know that there will come a point when you get smacked in the face. Believe me, I speak from a heck of a lot of experience in this area. So what do you do when this happens, how do you recover? Here are some of the tips I have found to work in my life, and I have learned from others. First when you are faced with an ugly and stressful situation, recognize what is happening. Not so much practically, but how are you responding to it? Next acknowledge what is going on, and then take time to deal with that emotion. Once the emotion is out of the way, ask yourself what is the next step in the situation, what is the next step to move forward. If it is a people problem, confront the person respectfully if it is a marketing problem, figure out if it is an issue with the advert, the headline, your copy, or the offer. Basically, once the emotion and the stress is removed, then you can take practical steps to get past the situation and deal with the problem you are having. Finally, remember why you are doing what you are doing. You chose to walk the path of the ministry, you chose to become an entrepreneur for a reason, and the enemy knows this as much as anyone. I have said it before, I will say it again, If this is God approved, it will be enemy apposed. We are in a war, and business, and ministry are not off limits to the traps and skeams of our enemy.
