Have you ever had those moments when your customers do one of two things, react on the social media spaces negatively, or sing your praises? Those moments can either be a scary, ghastly moment, or a real treat for your business. Here are a few tips to insure they see you in a sweet light.
First, remember that your product, or service should be a well thought out, and enjoyable experience for the customer. Look at Zappos, Apple, or Bose. They don’t just sell a product. They give those they are selling to an experience they are unlikely to forget, and they are more likely to return because of it.
Next, while this should be obvious, remember not to trick your customer. If you offer a product at a specific price, then be sure to follow up and honor the deal, even if it costs you. The last thing you want is to leave a bad taste in the customer’s mouth. They won’t be as willing to return, and they might even take out their poison quill, and vent on social media hurting your reputation.
Finally, remember to keep your company at top of mind awareness. This means constant marketing, and remaining where your prospects are. Speaking of marketing, here are a few tips to make sure that your message is well received, and considered a treat to those that read it.
1 Your headline should draw them in, and make them want to read more. Your headline should not sell the product, that’s for the rest of the add in question. All that the headline’s job is, is to cause the prospect to read more.
2 Use sub-headlines. Remember, people do not read, they scan. So give them something that can take them to the first headline, to the close of your add, and make it a smooth read.
In conclusion. If you work on making your products and services not just a product and or service, but an experience that the buyer will remember, and you constantly work on your marketing, and your copy, then you will give your prospects a real treet going forward.
